About

I'm Sergio, a product designer and frontend developer currently living in Madrid, Spain. I've been here since early 2020 and before that, I had a short stint living in the UK. I love traveling and being outdoors, but I also like spending time inside. Computers are one of the things I like the most, as well as the internet. That's probably why I ended up pursuing a career in technology.

I think I was around 10 or 11 years old when I used a computer for the first time. I remember spending so much time tinkering with it. For some reason, computers didn't feel intimitading to me. I enjoyed exploring what I could do with them and learned a lot about the way they worked. A few years later, I saw an Apple computer for the first time. It inmediatly caught my attention. That thing was beautiful! When I eventually got one, I remember paying attention to the software I installed: I found out there were many apps that looked great and felt amazing to use. I didn't know it back then, but design was important for me.

In the past, I've worked in so many different things, such as digital marketing, customer service and digital journalism, but at some point I realized what I really wanted to do was to design and build software. For the past few years, I've been learning all about product design and frontend development and I'm finally ready to kickstart my career in a field I'm passionate about.
